Miyuki Takenaka / Soft Scenery

The artist has been working on two kinds of works. The first is drops of resin in between acrylic plates, and the other is watercolors on paper.
In the works using resin, the artist concentrate on the reflectrion and shadow, casted on the white board at the base of the layered acrylic plates. The imporession of the work would chage according to the movent of viewers. The artist says that the works are about "familiar atomosphere in the daily life", and the results of "delicatre balance of columness in our uneasy daily life".

In our exhibition, drawings since 2000 and new acrylic panel works are to be exhibitted.
