We are pleased to introduce some artworks by Tomoko KONOIKE in special exhibition Oku-Noto Triennale @ Daikanyama Tsutaya Books.

Tomoko Konoike installed her work in a ultimate location of Shakuzaki. This cape is faced to Heijima Island which used to be worshipped but now abandoned. The artist created a white sculpture with corns and body of the men, generating the awesome feeling the local people had vis-à-vis the oversea lands. The work itself can be reached only by walking more than twenty minutes.
