ART FRONT GALLERY pleased to announce that we hold special exhibition "Yoshihiro Miura's FINE BIRD STORE" at DAIKANYAMA T-SITE anjin café.

This pop-up small bird store, Yoshihiro Miura's FINE BIRD STORE provides rare and beautiful birds from all over the world, which was created by Japanese ceramic artist Yoshihiro Miura. He transforms the birds which has a colorful feathers and characteristic form into the roundish comical formed earthenware. Colorful pigment is painted on soil texture of the earthenware in order to reproduce the colors of real birds as faithfully as possible. In this season becoming cold, these lovely companion birds which have warm texture of the earthenware and cheerful colors are waiting for you.

Yoshihiro Miura（Ceramic）

born in Oita, 1987. Miura produces ceramic works with deformed characteristic of animals and birds. Humorous round appearance together with archaic form associated with ancient image of animals are overlapped with geometrical forms.
