Arriving at the station of single-track Iiyama Line, you will find hog-backed hut of Jimmy Liao. There inside, you see the screen illustrating the story of Kiss & Bye, and the original paintings for the book on the walls.

The boy in the story, accompanied by his dog, recalls many memorable scenes with his family in the past, and feels his independence more accurately, becoming more matured than before. The whole work is impressive in this calm environment, whereas some scenes with tunnel refer to the characteristic geology of the Tsumari area.

This time, he applied by himself to art competition at Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennnale and was selected to realize his proposal.
