We put 2 articles about her residence report and studio report previously. To read them, go back to Gallery Top Page and click dialogue icon on the right bottom section.

Saeko Kuwana is a young contemporary artist who uses ceramic as her main expression material. Even though she studied sculpture in university, but she found interesting deeply in ceramic afterwards.
We normally have a domestic image about ceramic, but the artist brings new and original possibilities on the material like creating a large scale ceramic installation.

For this exhibition “Editable Region / In the Room”, we got an essay entitled “Talkative Pantomime” from Motoaki Hori, Chief Curator, Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery, Tokyo.
This essay is printed in this exhibition leaflet, and visitors can take it at the gallery.

Kuwana's other works can be exhibited at Ohshima Fine Art. This solo exhibition will start from Sep. 1 (sat) to 22(sat).
