ART FRONT GALLERY is pleased to announce that we are holding a special exhibition featured by Mariko Isozaki at DAIKANYAMA T-SITE anjin café.

Mariko Isozaki worked on her artworks based in Japan and Italy. Using a traditional clay coils technique as a base, she created the biomorphic ceramics arts which call vegetables, fruits and flowers to mind. Isozaki has passed away for 7 years, however, she left a lot of artworks in various size from palm-size objects to huge public arts in Japan and abroad. In accordance with this season as the sun is scorching, we feature one of Isozaki's representative series, which is pottery works with sense of liveness, painted in three vivid primary colors in this exhibition. The imaginary "harvests" which is made of terracotta and resembles summer vegetables like tomatoes and zucchinis are dressed with fresh colors of red, yellow and blue and meet together at Anjin Café. Regarding the relief of this exhibition, their organic shapes look as if it were the cut section of Isozaki's biomorphic objects. All reasonable sized-works are available to take them with you just after purchasing. We hope that you enjoy the harvests of Isozaki which has humor and sensuality as well.
