Mariko Isozaki1990 - 2013
Isozaki has created the ceramic and marble objects and passed away suddenly in 2013. After studying craft design in Japan, she entered in the National School of Ceramics in Faenza where she learned pottery as well as stone carving. Her works with colorful, humorous shape were inspired by forms found in the nature and has enjoyed wide popularity in both Japan and overseas. Large works are now in the collection of Oita Prefectural Art Museum recently renewed.
