The artist will talk on her practice on the first day at the venue.
Michiko Isono is interested in and focuses on life custom, text, language and the relationship of group and individual in Japan. She presents many installation works using various medium such as daily necessaries, glasses, photographs and films.
For this exhibition, the presenting work will be 6 minutes new film work from the series of “LOOKING AT WINDOWS”. This is about 3 located residential buildings shot.
Art Front Gallery has been corpora ting art coordination at Anjin in Tsutaya Book Shop, Daikanyama, Tokyo. You can also see her glass works as a piece of permanent works at Anjin.
