New work "Lost Winter" by Leandro Erlich at Sansho House (Echigo- Tsumari)

A new artwork for the next Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale opens to the public prior to the festival at Sansho House. You will find yourself in an unexpected location when looking through the window and then naturally move to check where you are. This installation by Leandro Erlich, as the “Tunnel” in Echigo-Tsumari Satoyama Museum of Contemporary Art, KINARE or “Swimming Pool” in 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa will play trick on your eyes. Enjoy the artwork representing artist’s thought that “if art has any function it should help retrieve curiosity or sense of wonder that one tend to loose as he/she grows up to an adult.” while you stay at Sansho House.
