Ayako Kuno Participates in Group Exhibition for Terada Art Week

Blurred: Intersecting Boundaries
This exhibition features three cutting-edge Japanese artists—Yuki Nara, Masayoshi Nojo, and Ayako Kuno—who fuse traditional Japanese techniques with contemporary expression. Crossing fields such as architecture and ceramics, photography and memory, metalwork and urbanism, these artists challenge the conventional notion of “boundaries” that we often accept unconsciously.

In a world where everything tends to be quantified and clearly defined, their distinct practices highlight the subtle beauty of ambiguity—“Blurred”—that exists between defined borders. Through works that contemporize traditional Japanese techniques like ceramics, metal leaf, and casting, viewers are invited to experience the ever-shifting world that lies in the spaces between clarity and obscurity.
