dialogue: reporting Bunpei Kado's studio visit

We visited Bunpei Kado's studio where he was busy preparing for the upcoming solo show.
The title for the solo exhibition this time, "Proto - Planet" comes from the word explains the status when the planet is born. Kado chose the word to think as our planet earth at the moment is the prototype of this planet's future aspect. Kado thinks that what we call "natural" includes our convenient life style backed up by technology and as the result having the environmental destruction, and that we have to think this status is the prototype of our future planet.
When we visited hi studio, he showed us new work imagining "moving strata" using layers of skate board. Please look forward to the installation he will build at our gallery for the exhibition.
