Shinji Ohmaki, plan drawing for installation "Liminal Air - Space -Time" 2012
Shinji Ohmaki is already a major artist in Japan, and is becoming one of the most important names in his generation. He was introduced in Singapore at Hermes early last year as well as at Art Museum in last summer. For the coming Project Stage space, Ohmaki is now preparing a new installation which he has never shown to public before; the slowly undulating fabric would remind us of ocean waves of Singapore. This site-based work, together with his colorful or delicate white pieces in general booth, is “salable” for the first time for the audience of Singapore.
Solo exhibition of Shinji Ohmaki will be held at Shibuya Hikarie (Feb. 6 - 18, 2013) and Art Front Gallery (Feb. 22 - Mar. 10, 2013), click here for further information.

Chihiro Kabata’s work is normally very sharp or shiny, sometimes using mirrors or ballpoint pen to make illusion of mirror effect. She has also been introduced in several exhibits in Singapore such as Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) Singapore, Lasalle Collage.

Bunpei Kado “Sky Town” iron, wood, lead 2000 x 700 x 1850mm, 2010
Bunpei Kado is working with figurative three dimensional works.
He mixes different material and subject to make one work; that is, what we already know is combined to give a new meaning as a whole. The artist has been invited to participate in Setouchi Triennale 2013 held around in Naoshima.
