Bunpei Kado Housing

This is the first solo collection of Bunpei Kado's representative works from his "Housing Series". Taking up themes such as dwellings, cities, the environment, resources, and population, which continue to change with the times, the exhibition traces the artist's deep gaze and thoughts on the nature of "housing" that he has expressed through his art works, and introduces his works with photographs.
In the latter half of the book, architectural historian and architectural critic Taro Igarashi contributes, and through a discussion with architect and architectural historian Terunobu Fujimori, the viewpoints behind Kado's works are richly developed, making this a valuable book for a deeper understanding of the world of Bunpei Kado's works.
